Saturday, March 30th, was a blast opening for the Tejas Brothers at the Love & War in Texas Annual Crawfish Boil! Great crawfish, music and crowd under the big Texas sky! As always, a huge thank you for Tye inviting us out and the Tejas Brothers' hospitality!
Where do I start in talking about the Dream2Walk benefit concert yesterday! It was so cool be able to be part of the benefit and also be around so many great musicians! Thanks to everyone that came out and hopefully a lot of money was raised from the benefit. First, thanks to Stewart Morrison. This guy is awesome! Doing everything he can to help out people with those injuries! Check out http://dream2walk.org/ for more info on the foundation. Also, thanks to Chuck Ligon and his band for letting us use some of their equipment. It was great to hear them play! When Chris Shutters got up with them he was amazing on the guitar! Wow! Jay Johnson, Dave Thomas (my dad loved the "Guitarded" song), Heather Roberts and waking Norman, you all are awesome! Last, always thanks to Tory, Courtney and everyone at Love & War. Thanks for giving us a place to play!
